It's Summer...

The kids will be out of school soon and it will be time for the family vacation. If you haven't already, it's time to make your final decision about where you'll be going.

While Florida is one of the top vacation destinations in the nation, summer travel in the Sunshine State can present some challenges. Walt Disney World, Epcot, MGM, Universal Studios,Wet N Wild, and Aquatica opened March 2008 is a 59-acre water park, directly across the street from the resort.

Special Needs for Special People

Travel can be a hassle for people without disabilities, so imagine the challenges of traveling with disabilities. Fortunately, the possibilities for travel within Florida is limitless for the disabled... even our water is accessible with special beach wheelchairs and zero-entry pools.

Orange County Convention Center Inks Deal with Racing Trade Show

The Orange County Convention Center can mark its calendar for the next several years: they announced today that they've inked a long-time partnership with the world's largest racing trade show.

The Performance Racing Industry Trade Show - which held its first Orlando event in 2005 - had previously contracted to hold the event in Orlando through 2010. Now, it plans to stay in Orlando through 2016.

"After holding the PRI Trade Show in Orlando for three very successful years, it is now viewed by exhibitors and attendees as the place to be for the future," Steve Lewis, the show's producer said in a written release.

The show, which draws about 45,000 racing industry entrepreneurs from 50 countries, exhibits the latest advances in motorsports technology.

In 2007, it was the 45th largest trade show in the U.S., with more than 425,000 net square feet of exhibit space, according to a listing released by Reed Business Information.

This year's show will be held December 11 to 13.
